VideoSaúde Distributor

The VideoSaúde Distributor of Fiocruz carries out research, acquisition, cataloging, treating, production and distribution of audiovisual on health. The collection is available to registered users, including agencies and institutions of the Unified Health System (SUS), private schools, students, NGOs and community organizations, and individual users. The VideoSaúde Distributor is linked to the Institute of Scientific and Technological Communication and Information in Health (ICICT), which coordinates, also the participation of Fiocruz in Rio de Janeiro University Television channel (UTV).

Fiocruz Video

The Fiocruz Video seal is a mark of audiovisual broadcasting on public health and health science and technology, which has the assignment of popularizing and democratizing of access to knowledge. With the proposal to stimulate the production of videos on issues of health, science and technology, the environment and living conditions of the Brazilian population, the Fiocruz Video releases eventually tender notices for producers.

Canal Saúde (Health Channel)

The Canal Saúde channel is a television station of Fiocruz, for disseminating health information. Since December 2010, is on the air daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with national coverage and with its own programs and partner institutions, and independent productions. Since 1994, its programs has been conveyed by channel partners from government and civil society, and are available on the web.

Image Bank

The Fiocruz Imagens gathers photographic productions of different units of the Foundation. Its purpose is to meet the needs of iconographic collections used in communications products. These images are registered in the same management system, within which are distributed in categories such as animals and plants, environment and health, among others. Created by the Institute of Scientific and Technological Communication and Information in Health (ICICT), the Fiocruz Imagens aims to intensify the cooperative work for the benefit of science and technology in healthcare.
