Find out about the postgraduate programmes in which our researchers work as permanent and collaborating professors, including the Programme in Computational Biology and Systems (IOC/Fiocruz) and the Postgraduate Programme in Public Health Epidemiology (ENSP/Fiocruz).
The Postgraduate Stricto Sensu Programme in Computational Biology and Systems at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (PGBCS/IOC/Fiocruz) was created in 2007 and accredited with concept 5 by Capes/MEC. It is in the multidisciplinary area of Capes, in subchamber IV (Health and Biology). The Programme is aimed at higher education professionals coming from courses in the areas of exact sciences, health sciences or biological sciences, interested in studying biological problems at different scales and levels of complexity within the scope of computational biology and systems biology.
Created in 2007, it aims to train teachers, researchers, and managers from an interdisciplinary and multi-professional perspective. It is designed to train professionals to analyse, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate public policies and technologies, considering the epidemiological, social, and environmental contexts on the national and international stages.
