International cooperation is a core value and commitment of Fiocruz. PROCC actively participates in a Latin American consortium in collaboration with The Global Health Network (TGHN) at the University of Oxford.
Since 2019, Fiocruz has been the centre of a collaborative, open-access knowledge hub. This hub aims to strengthen networks and expand public health research capacities by creating a dynamic virtual environment for professionals, students, and researchers. There, the community can share experiences, knowledge, resources, and research tools. Find out more about the Fiocruz Hub and its contribution to TGHN.
In 2023, The Global Health Network Latin America and Caribbean (TGHN LAC) was launched to promote regional collaboration and knowledge exchange. This web platform acts as a ‘knowledge centre’, helping to develop capacities and improve health professionals' research skills in the Latin American and Caribbean region. The consortium, in which Fiocruz participates as a regional centre, has seven country centres: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Honduras, Peru, the Dominican Republic and the United Kingdom.
