Registration is open for the 1st International Symposium on Research & Innovation

Promoting the discussion on new strategies to increase research, technological development, and innovation at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), with speakers from development agencies and national and international academic centers dedicated to new methodologies for the governance of science and technology, technological and scientific prospecting, knowledge and innovation management. It is for this purpose that the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz) will hold the 1st International Symposium on Research & Innovation by IOC from May 17 to May 19, which will also be broadcast in English.

Developed for internal and external researchers, technologists, and graduate students, the event will address topics such as: the past and present of innovation at the IOC, international cooperation strategies for innovation in health, challenges and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, technology and research in health, Fiocruz initiatives focused on innovation (Inova Fiocruz and Inova Labs Programs) and prospects in RDI (Research, Development and Innovation).

Part of the celebrations of the 121st anniversary of the IOC, the Symposium will be broadcast live on the IOC's YouTube channel in Portuguese and English. To participate, you must register at the Fiocruz Virtual Campus. The preliminary program of the event is also available there.
